Sixth Edition Welcomes Loyal Customers
The Allianz Platinum Golf Tournament is a gathering of the company’s loyal customers. The annual event has developed special meaning for Allianz and its customers.
The Allianz Platinum Golf Tournament held its 6th event. The Allianz Utama Indonesia Insurance event, organised by OB Golf, was held on May 13 at Damai Indah Golf-PIK Course. It was attended by 129 players consisting of Allianz Platinum customers, corporate business partners, and Allianz Indonesia management.
"Every year, Allianz holds this event with different themes and interesting games and prizes that appeal to customers. Allianz Platinum Golf is an event that Allianz Platinum customers are waiting for every year because this event is the most special compared to other Allianz Platinum benefits. In the insurance industry, only Allianz gives this event free to its customers. Participants are not only customers who come from Jakarta but also from outside the city,” said Pieter van Zyl, President Director of Allianz Utama Indonesia.
The annual golf tournament is part of Allianz’s commitment to their customers to actively engage with and reward their best clients. Over the past six years, the Allianz Platinum Golf Tournament has had a positive impact on Allianz's marketing. "Platinum customers have increased three times more than regular customers," added van Zyl.
On the bright Sunday Morning, President Director van Zyl opened the tournament with a smooth tee shot. Throughout the round, Allianz Indonesia spoiled their customers with an exceptional level of hospitality and entertainment, allow their guests to truly enjoy their day and relax. In addition, there was also an exclusive hole-in-one prize, provided by BMW, which enhanced the competitive atmosphere and added to the festive feeling.
Allianz Utama Indonesia Insurance also utilized the 6th Allianz Platinum Golf Tournament to introduce their other programs, such as a Platinum gathering event, free medical check-up every two years, birthday gifts for every customer, Platinum counter service and dedicated call centre, as well as a faster claims process. “We also hold a campaign to upgrade to Platinum customers so that regular customers can enjoy the benefits of Platinum,” explained van Zyl.
The annual golf tournament is always met with enthusiasm by its participants. Allianz Indonesia is extremely grateful for the enthusiasm of the Allianz Platinum Golf Tournament 2018 participants. Van Zyl stated, “We are delighted that this tournament was attended by a combination of new customers and partners with our loyal customers who have participated two to three times in this event, such as Michael Tjoajadi and Soegiarto from Surabaya who are always present every year.”
